The best album ever (Fallen - Evanescence)
Member Name: sharpey1982
Advantages: Unlike anything you've heard before, brilliantly composed songs Disadvantages: You'll be begging for more This is probably my favourite album of all time. I don't think many people appreciate just how amazing this album is. It has to be the first album I've ever owned where I've liked every single song. The thing that makes Evanescence's music so special is the mixture of instruments that they use. For a punk/rock band (or whatever you want to call them) their songs are beautifully arranged. In fact they're more like compositions than songs. They mix the usual rock based instruments of drums and electric guitars with more classical instruments such as strings and pianos. The result is quite spectacular and with Amy Lee's haunting vocals every song feels like a masterpiece. This is a must for absolutely anyone's collection in my book. If you're not the biggest fan of rock you should have a listen to this album online or borrow it off a friend. The only problem is, where have they gone now? We haven't heard much from them for a while. It's a real shame because this has to be the strongest debut album I have ever owned. Go out and buy it now if you don't already possess it, you've been missing out. Summary: Amazing fusion of rock with occasional classical twists |
