FALLEN is the title EVANESCENCE's album.
The album contains 11 tracks which I will review.

The opening song GOING UNDER is a powerful opener with fantastic instrumental work from the guitar and drums. The vocals are haunting and produce a beautiful sound.

BRING ME TO LIFE is a fast paced more rocky song which starts of slowly and gets faster at the chorus when the instruments kick in. The lyrics are excellent and vocals superb.

EVERYBODY'S FOOL has a lovely intro which brings in the vocals that are sublime aided by the instruments that ghelp guide the melodies along.

My favourite song on the album is MY IMMORTAL. This is a beautifully sad song with the vocals and piano work so touching and lyrics with so much meaning. When the instrumentscome in towards the finale the emotion explodes and you may well have a tear in your eye for this one.

HAUNTED is a chilling song with terrific vocals that relax you while listening especially at the chorus.

TOURNIQUET felt a little lacklustre until it reached the chorus and then the instruments breathed new life into it and at the finale that is so beautiful.

IMAGINARY contains lyrics that tell a good story supported by the melodies and rhythms that worked well together.

TAKING OVER ME is a faster paced song sung with full vigour aided by the energy from the instruments that added an extra edge to procedings.

HELLO is a beautifully mellow track. The vocals ooze smoothness while the melodies are so soothing.

MY LAST BREATH has a sublime intro that brings in the vocals which are chilling, though express superb emotion that is expressed wonderfully through the lyrics.

The last song on the album is WHISPER that showcases the group's talents of superb vocals, terrific instrumental work and lyrics with so much meaning.

Overall, this is a superb album. The vocals are marvellous and so full of emotion. The instruments add a rock feel and excel at it while the lyrics express heartfelt feelings. The melodies and rhythms work well and the mix of fast and slower paced songs is great as the group are wonderful at both styles.
