Advantages: THE LIVE ASPECT OF THE ALBUM

Disadvantages: SOME DUBIOUS SONG CHOICES

FAMILIAR TO MILLIONS is a two disc album of live performances from indie rock, Manchester band OASIS.
Liam and Noel Gallagher belt outall their hits with many highlights. On the first disc the best songs include;

SUPERSONIC which is a true Oasis song as Liam drones out his vocals with the song having a real dark mood to it.

GO LET IT OUT is a slow song that has a great chorus with some excellent lyrics.

My favourite has to be ROLL WITH IT a true rock anthem very fast paced that has lyrics that roll of the tongue. The guitar is awesome in this track especially as it's live.

It's the same with STAND BY ME which live sounds amazing. When the crowd join in with this track it sounds even better.

On disc two the highlights are:

WONDERWALL which is belted out with pure enrgy from the band and crowd particularly when it gets to the memorable chorus.

I love CIGARETTES AND ALCOHOL as it's a song with real attitude that is associated with the band. The instruments sound excellent.

Hearing DON'T LOOK BACK IN NGER live is a treat as it is a song everybody knows. Noel singing this gives a real passionate performance that the fans sing along with him. It's the same with CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA as the great vocals are supported by the crowd.

ROCK N' ROLL STAR is a rock tune with attitude and it's fast pace means you should turn this up loud and rock out.

Overall, there are eighteen tracks performed live by the band each sound wonderful. The audio is good considering the album is live and the energy you feel through your ears is brilliant. Most of Oasis' big hits are featured although there are a few dubious choices. Nonehteless, if you're an Oasis fan this is an album that you should turn up and enjoy.
