Some real crackers on this one.
A couple of weak ones.
The Divine Wings Of Tragedy: Special Edition - Symphony X -
Incredibly detailed songs
Won't appeal to fans of less heavy-going rock, or other musical styles
Cursing Your Will To Live - Dodsferd -
some great raw and melodic riffs, engaging songwriting, vocals sound good at times
juvanile approach spoils things somewhat, screaming sounds very angsty at times
Lament of the Gods - Varathron -
some great melodic/heavy metal riffs, entertaining listen
bland in places, songstructure needs improving
The Days Of Grays - Sonata Arctica -
Insanely catchy yet very much a grower
Couple of weaker forgettable tracks
Rising - Rainbow -
Influential, huge sounding and virtuoso
Thoroughly ridiculous and over the top
