Prodigy I remember seeing Prodigy several years ago at the Glastonbury festival they were wonderful


I was in work early yesterday morning and had this C D with me so I played it to liven me up before the children arrived. The fat of the land was produced in 1997 .

The record starts with the track, “smack my bitch, up” not a very nice thing to sing about, physical violence, wife beating. But it is a good rock tune gets the head bopping, lively with a good strong beat

Breathe is the next song another good beat to this gets my body moving some acoustic guitar in here as well as the drum beats. It’s energising although it has a slightly sinister feel to it.

Next is diesel power a very strong beat to this track a bit of a rap type of feel to this track but always with that strong constant beat

The next track a full sound “Funky shit”” hey hey hey” strong words strong sounds,

Next,” serial thrilla” a strong beat again

Mind fields This track a little more tedious a lot of plain drum beats less electronic noise, less variation on this track.

Narayana A lot of mellow vocals in this song from Crispian Mills from Kulashaka set to a good beat makes you want to listen.

“Fire starter” now who has not heard this track it is a strong vibrant track. “Firestarter, twisted firestarter” I can remember the excitement and awe I felt when I heard this live, its fast it’s got some amazing sounds in it.

The next track “climbatize” a track without vocals this track is a little gentler on the ears.

Then finishes with” fuel my fire” this track a little weak not the best track to finish on when I listen to music I want it to end on
a high
