Advantages: Some classic gangster stuff

Disadvantages: Dated these days...

This is the 1990 album from Public Enemy that was one of their most successful. The album includes absolutely classic singles such as 911 is a Joke, and Fight the Power.

The album is dated these days and the general sound is the rap style of the earlys 90's late 80's. The album does have some musical quality, something that alot of albums at the same kind of time as this were missing!

Burn Hollywood Burn is a good track, but the best on the album is Brothers Gonna Work It Out (which shares its name with a Chemical Brothers track, but not the same!) which has a great guitar track on it, with a good vocal.

It is an old album so I would suggest giving it a miss these days in favour of newer rap stuff such as Dr Dres 2001, or Marshall Mathers LP.
