Chilean fantasy power metallers Alta Densidad offer yet another pleasantly symphonic take on the genre without adding anything new. These eleven songs are straightforward, clean-produced power metal towards the lighter end of the scale, and seemingly take most of their influence from the similarly regal Kamelot and Stratovarius, particularly evident in the sweeping but all too false orchestrations arranged by the keyboards. Carlos Flores has a great power metal voice very similar to Edguy's Tobias Sammet, if he sang in Spanish.
