The Very Best Of Mtv Unplugged Vol.2
by pmcds - written on 05/03/08 (Very useful, 56 readings)
Rating:
MTV is a television music channel which started broadcasting in late 1989/early 1990. As the first of its kind, it regularly featured an Unplugged session, where Artists would come and perform a live acoustic set. Before long, the MTV The Very Best Of Unplugged album was released, an its success demanded a second album to be released. This album is the second offering from the MTV Unplugged Set. Many artists have released music that they have performed on the MTV set, but this is a compilation of some of the greatest moments in the channel s live acoustic history. There are 16 tracks on the album, including 10 which were not previously released. These are the tracks: ...
The Very Best Of Mtv Unplugged Vol.2
by lorraryall - written on 10/07/03 (Very useful, 270 readings)
Rating:
The MTV unplugged sessions and albums have always maintained a loyal following, due to their presentation of Artists singing a live set, as opposed to the usual played recordings! The opportunity of playing life often presents the artist with a slightly different sound, and more often than not it can provide a more realistic view of an individual or bands talents. That explains why many talented artists appear on MTV unplugged, and hence MTV unplugged albums are released. The very best of MTV unplugged 2 was released at the beginning of 2003, as a follow up to the previous unplugged album, and sees a number of artists' live performances drawn together to create an ...
Fame Academy - Soundtrack
by lorraryall - written on 09/04/03 (Very useful, 287 readings)
Rating:
This album presents some fantastic well known songs sung by the stars of the TV show Fame Academy. The selection of songs found on the album is impressive, with a number of 'old classics' which a large number of people will remember and appreciate. A certain liking of the TV show is also required however, as some of the tracks may be considered a little 'painful' when sung by an amateur. This might not be appreciated by true fans of the originals. 1) With a little help from my friends - David Sneddon and Ainslie Henderson - originally sung by the beatles this song is well known to most of the population. It is pulled off well, and the happy and upbeat sound is ...
Products similar to Finding Nemo - Soundtrack
Ride The Beast - Buffalo
Lots of different tempos
None in particular
New And Improved - Julianne Regan and Mice
Good lyrics & great guitar lines
Some of the lyrics are a touch on the dark side
Youth Novels - Lykke Li
Some truly catchy pop songs, Li's gorgeous voice, simplistic production works effectively
Some pleasant enough but unmemorable tracks, Li's irritating wailing on "Time Flies"
The Week That Was - The Week That Was
A very strong Debút album, with subtle musical nods to Field Music.
Might be slightly too 'challenging ' for some people.
Two Pages - 4hero
Double bass, strings and intricate beats combine with sweet vocals to create beautiful tunes
Cheesy, electronic sci - fi DnB tracks ruin the feel
Shadows In The Light - Immolation
Booming vocals to match the strong messages
Well, it's death metal so there are limits to how much you can listen to and who likes it!
Very Best Of - Girlschool
People having fun, catchy guitar solos, decent vocals
None really!
Witch Of Berkeley Live - A II Z
Lots of classic tunes
Shame this is the band's only real album
Essential Sins - Bitches Sin
Couple of decent guitar solos
Largely disappointing
Total Metal: The Neat Anthology - Atomkraft
Groundbreaking stuff for the time
Not as good as artists who would go on to be influenced by them
