This frantic upbeat pace last for 70% of the album but they know how to surprise with slow and solemn sections just at the right time (like at the beginning of "Cuando creceran los flores") which really bring out the best in the band's sound. New Orleans is well known for its music scene but in modern tmes ruf rock band The Black Lips were the most innovative of recent rock bands with their surf sound, that's what I thought until I came across The Zydepunks, any With lyrics sung in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, English and Hebrew they bill themselves as a Cajunk Irish Jewish punk band and that is bang on the money and no matter where you are from, some of the songs should appeal!
