Advantages: full of meaning
Disadvantages: none
The sweet voice of Lisa Loeb. Sometimes I feel like she’s crawled inside my brain and written down what’s there. This lady has one of the nicest voices I've ever heard (sweet but powerful). Her first album was tails which features the song stay (the soundtrack from reality bites). Firecracker was her second album - it has been one of my favourite albums since the day I bought it and will remain to be so until the day I die - I like this album so much that I bought it twice!, yes twice, someone borrowed it from me and to cut a long story short they lost it (or so they said - although I'm not convinced) - it's so great and I missed it so I bought it again (the person that lost it said they'd buy me another one but I knew they wouldn't). The music is catchy and quite accoustic. All the Lyrics have meaning. My favourite track is Truthfully (I could have wrote it for my bf) *The tracks* 1. I do 2. Falling in love 3. Truthfully 4. Let's forget about it 5. How 6. Furious Rose 7. Wishing Heart 8. Dance with the Angels 9. Jake 10. This 11.Split Second 12. Firecracker 13. Guessing Game A truly wonderful album.

- 03/10/01 Hi SL,
I just wanted to say sorry about being a little harsh about the FAQ scenario. I would've emailed you but I don't know the address.
One thing I'm sure of is we didn't mean to offend you! It's just that some of us can get a bit hot under the collar about abuses of the system.
So, don't be offended -- we were only trying to help (in our odd little ways!) You meant no harm, I'm sure, so don't worry about it -- there's a difference between someone who's made a mistake and someone who is deliberately out to abuse the system.
So, good luck for the future :) ...

- 27/09/01 If you are listing each track from the album, rather than just reviewing the overall album, then a line or two on each track saying what you think would help the review quite a lot. Alan |
