If you don't own the studio albums, this is some great symphonic black metal. Basically inferior versions of album material, sold for a quick buck.

Far From The Sun - Amorphis
A bit of a seventies throwback, if you like that sort of thing. Boring, disappointing and annoying.

More coherent than 'A.M.G.O.D.' Abandons black metal for weak industrial.

Am Universum - Amorphis
Good enough atmospheric rock. The dullest Amorphis album so far.

A band moving forward. It looks like the wrong way.

Battle At Helms Deep - Attacker
Early U.S. power metal, from metal's golden age. Vocals may irritate, and it's all more than a little daft.
