Flowers was the 8th studio album by The Rolling Stones that was released in the US. It's a mixture of tracks which were previously unreleased in the US but wer eon their slightly better British counterparts. The cover features The Stones with flower stems and rumour has it that Brian Jones' leaves are missing on purpose as a joke by Mick Jagger. The majority of the tracks are taken from 1965 to 1967, there are a few tracks which hadn't been released before. The two outstanding tracks in my eyes are the cover of My Girl which is truly phenomenal and the track Mother's Little Helper. Obviously tracks like Ruby Tuesday, Let's Spend the Night Together ... This is a truly great album, but I did get the felling I was being ripped off as I had all the songs except for maybe five or six. The album has left over songs from the English version of Aftermath, which is superior to the American version. The includes many classics such as 'Lets Spend the Night Together' and 'Mothers Little Helper', but many already had these. The highlights for me on this album are of course the above two songs plus songs like 'Out of Time' and Back street Girl', which was on the UK version of Between The Buttons.
