Some artists choose to play pretty much the same style of music throughout their careers - Motorhead for example. It works well for some bands but fails for the majority. Alice Cooper on the other hand was an artist who always strived to change his style and make brave decisions. Flush the Fashion was released in 1980 and has a distinctly difference sound from before or after. In fact, it sounds fairly crazy and interesting today.
