Let's face it. You - and everybody else, for that matter, have no doubt got a veritable archive of embarrassing memories from your childhood. I have too, y'know. I never went down the "Eating worms/mud/spiders" route as a little 'un, no. I was far too introverted as a child to even consider that, actually. Unfortunately though, growing up - and the progression through youth into adolescence holds little in the way of lessened embarrassments. In fact, as you get older, the amount of cringe-worthy memories you hold now only seem to hark back to the days when you were old enough to really have known better. You should've. You thought you did. But ... Read the complete review

The title of the opinion i am writing is actually the name of the first release by Blink 182, back in 1993. The quality of the songs isn't very good but they are excellent, and i love every one of them. I am going to try and write, as best i can, a review on all the songs (although there is only six or seven), as fully as possible. I guess that i could try and put a bit of insight into the band around the time of this release. The band at this time was : Tom DeLonge - Guitar, vocals Mark Hoppus - Bass, vocals Scott Raynor - drums At the time, Scott (who was two years younger then Tom And Mark) was a big Metallica fan, and wasn't ... When people say the fist blink 182 album is the flyswatter, well they are wrong very wrong. It is infact a demo, yes a demo tape and there was only 30 made of them. The blink 182 members and family even did the colouring on the tape covers. There were 8 songs on flyswatter and some were so good that they were later released nto budda which also was a demo originaly. In an interveiw with Ton delonge he said "It was so amazing for us at the time to release flyswatter but now I hope no one hears it again". Apart from finding the 1 of 30 flyswatter tapes in the world you used to be able to download it on the internet on. ... Read the complete review

Back in 1992, two boys started a small band in Poway, San Diego. Their names wee Tom DeLonge and Scott Raynor on guitar and drums respectively. They soon recruited mark Hoppus onto bass. They went by the name 'Blink'. They practiced continually, and after a couple of months, they decided to record a tape. This was done in Scott's bedroom, and contained 8 tracks. The front cover was simply blue with an A on it, drawn by Mark. It was called 'Flyswatter' and contained 8 tracks. They were a follows : 1. Reebok Commercial 2. Time 3. Red Skies 4. Alone 5. Point Of View 6. Marlboro Man 7. The Longest Line 8. Freak ... Read the complete review

so when blink 182 first hit the scene in 1992 they where actualy just called "blink" until some irish sole band tryed to take them to court over it so they chaned there name to "blink 182" the 182 were just random numbers dispite the rumors of what they mean. they recorded a demo called "flyswater" which was never actual released on a record lable it was just given to family and friends, and the chance of geting hold of one of these is very slim trust me av tryed. the track listing for this demo was; * reebok commercial * time * red skies * alone * point of viwe * malboro ...
