I've been meaning to have a listen to a Caravan album recently as I've not heard too much about the "Canterbury Sound", initially giving the whole prog rock genre a wide-berth, I've warmed to it in recent years. This album is the band's 3rd release and the first I came across, it generally seems to have been touted as their best work . It was the humorous name which drew me to it though! Whilst it's still very proggy and some of the tracks being medleys can be a bit infuriating to a more traditional listener but the fact the songs aren't too long and indulging should console you, the musicianship is excellent, the guitar work is outstanding and ...
