FOR LP FANS ONLY was originally released in 1959 during Elvis' stint in the army. During this period Elvis was not able to record new music and so his record company, RCA, dug into their archives to find material they had not previously released. They then released this music in order to keep Elvis and his music in the public eye. This album includes some of the songs from his Sun Records days, before he signed with RCA, including THAT'S ALL RIGHT (which was his first ever single) and MYSTERY TRAIN which I personally think is Elvis' finest song from this period.
