These albums are packed to the hilt with trancey hits, the kind of music you might hear in commercial clubs over a weekend or possibly on the Clubland music tv channel. Disc one is off to a poor start as a dubious cover of 'Hungry Eyes' gets underway. Dire vocals and some squeaky riffs ruin the essence of the original. I remember buying this album when it came out, as I was just getting into all the clubland stuff and it seemed like a good value purchase. I was not disappointed as it gave me many hours of listening pleasure! 36 tracks in total on here. Disc one gets off on a good foot with a sophisticated vocal turn on 'Irish Blue' from Flip n Fill, the track is polished production wise and should have been a bigger hit. Scooter go all shouty on 'Maria' and the song really grates, though they did dispense with the hideous high pitched vocals for this song. I adore the riff in 'Elements' by Neo Cortex which makes the hairs on your arms leap up, it is one of the disc's defining moments ...
