For Your Ears Only - Bentley Rhythm Ace

What a SUPERB album, read a review somewhere that described this as sounding like the soundtrack to "Clangers-The Movie" Bought it at Manchester Airport for the bargain price of £4.99 must've been a mistake. As a recent-ish BRA convert I'd heard some old stuff and found I had to listen to this quite a few times to really appreciate its brilliance. It's inventive and certainly a bit different. Bentley's back - and they're gonna sort you out for a second time. One of the best live bands around, BRA are masters of their own invention: carbootechnodisco - a mix of big beat, dance, drum'n'bass, old style 'stuff' and a bit of lunacy. Truly original and truly brilliant. If you don't recognise the name, you'll have heard their music, as it is used all over the place, one of the latest Lynx adverts for example.
