On the verses she is particularly bad, sounding a bit like my mum when she is singing doing the hoovering.
'Please Mr Postman' has some splendid synth riffs and quite a nagging tune to it, though it is let down again by a lacklustre vocal which fails to ignite and charge the song, she sounds quite flat in parts too. Who is Jenny Sinclair? The answer to that question is, it probably doesn't matter. All you need to know is that you are getting an album full of Carpenters cover versions by Jenny. There are ten covers and then on disc two we get a nine track megamix of the same stuff, only in a slightly different order. 'Only Yesterday' has a cheerful backing beat, but the vocals leave a lot to be desired. It appears Jenny is just going through the motions and sings with all the grace of a dead woodlouse.
