You can feel yourself clawing the walls in agony. There are some rousing synths in the background which add some spice, but the Dolly original is better. Check out 'Islands In The Stream' which has a very sickly vocal with fake emotion and one of those blokes who has clearly been roped in as a studio session singer, grotesque and a weak backing track too....more

Oh how wonderful, some of the best country records turned into club friendly classics! Does country work as dance music though? On this interesting package we get eleven songs then a bonus megamix on the second disc. The album is from the Almighty camp who brought us err similar treats on a similar scale of tackiness. Up first a hideous reworking of 'Rhinestone Cowboy.' A good vocal from James Reay if not a little cheesy, then it arrives at the chorus and all the instruments from the verses drop out, making it sound lacking and oh so very cheap.
