Advantages: Holler

Disadvantages: Some weak songs on here

The Spice Girls are regarded as the most successful female UK group ever IN THE WORLD! and there is no arguing with that, they sold millions upon millions of albums all around the world. They where original and different for the time they where around and they definitely where strong individually and this the third album it was their most creative and interesting and they really showed their braveness carrying on from Geri Halliwell leaving for a solo career and from firing their clever manager simon fulller who was responsible for most of their success around the world.

The highlight of the album indeed is Holler and they did release that as the first single. It's catchy, vibrant and different even for them. The album isn't consistent though, there are some dud songs in this album. Oxygen is rather lame and doesnt say or sound like anything special. I was bored listening to Right Back At Ya, it sounds just like every other song on the album. Tell Me Why, is the only song from the album i thought was stellar. Goodbye is a great way to end the album. Weekend Love is original and different although lyrically i think Time Goes By was a more interesting effort.

They all are better vocally and lyrically the album is more real to them. Probably because they co-write more of the album than on previous occasions. Its blantly obvious it's a Goodbye from them despite the final track being called just that. The artwork is quite standard and i think the change of their trademark logo and white background and logo album artwork this is a different change. This album contains two of their best songs and some dud efforts which arent as good. In this album they are better singers and artists although their style of music is different and scattered. It's like they didnt know what to do after they sacked Fuller so they made lots of different sounding music that doesn't sound alike.

I think this album is a good way for them to end things and i'd rather they left by trying to take control of their manic careers by co-writing and improving vocally than produced yet another commerical pop album written by writers who did it all for them.

Summary: Third album of Spice Girls
