Advantages: Good catchy songs

Disadvantages: none

Morcheeba are one of my favourite bands around at the moment. Their albums are full of catchy tunes, chilled out melodies and wonderful singing.

Fragments of Freedom is their latest offering. If you like Big Calm then this CD is certainly worth its cover price.

For your money you get 12 tracks, and the "special edition" that I have also has a Cd rom short film - "the making of fragements of freedom". I haven't checked the Cd rom out yet, but for an added freebie it has to be worth looking out for. I also got a large postcard/print of the album art work.

The songs are as varied in style as is usual for Morcheeba. Many of them are instantaneous favourites; "World looking in" "Rome wasn't built in a day" and "good girl down" spring to mind.

You won't be taking a chance on this album, if you like even one Morcheeba song. Buy it. Love it.
