... were lo-fi and uncooked. Their voices only hit the right notes on sporadic occasions and it was great. Adam has continued this tradition into his solo music, but in a more mature fashion. He has aged a few years now and the music is slower, the instruments clearer and more produced. But the lyrics are just as good and many of the melodies are just as sweet. Adam Green made his fame with anti-folk heroes The Moldy Peaches, singing dirty-raw super-sweet melodies that offend and captivated in a shockingly good way. He, along with his bandmate Kimya Dawson have gone on to do solo work. Adam is a wonderful musician. His music is intensely modern and your grandparents are guaranteed not to like it. With the Moldy Peaches he was singing about the modern american city-hipster sub culture.
