Eric Clapton's From The Cradle album is a highlight of a long and prosperous career. From The Cradle takes EC back to his blues roots from which he came, and should please the long-time devotees who may have grown disillusioned that Eric had lost his blues style in favour of the modern technological synthetic instrumentation. If anyone fears the above, fears that Clapton has stepped away from blues, then listen to From The Cradle...although Riding With The King will offer a more up-to-date refreshment with Clapton's blues roots.
