Don't get me wrong, I love Slipknot, but it's refreshing to hear a message besides "F--- you!" Josh Brown uses instead powerful imagery to get his message across. For example, in Fastblack, Brown sings, "The dark horse eats God's lonely flock." Later, in Monster, he croons, "Razorblades on my skin and / hearts filled with mace / and paper for my face."...more

An opinion on Full Devil Jacket by Full Devil Jacket. I traded in my Filter (too tame), Disturbed (he sounds like a seal on acid) and some other cd (that was so bad that I can't even remember it's name) for Full Devil Jacket. I had run across them on CDNow and figured they were worth a try. It more than compensated for my 3 cd sacrifice. The first thing you notice on the the heavy first track, "Wanna be a Martyr?", is that these guys are loud. Not the most intense thing, but definitely heavy enough for a hard rocker's tastes.
