Recently , in 2007 , I have acquired G.I.BLUES on C.D . I can honestly say as soon as I put it on my stereo , and switched it on the years fell away , and all the forgotten memories came flooding back .

In 1960 a brown parcel arrived at our house addressed to my 13 ˝ year old sister . No-one in the family , apart from my sister, knew what it contained .We sat at the living room table and she opened it .Bursting with curiosity we all watched . It contained an official letter from the Elvis Presley fan club stating that , my sister was now a fully paid-up member of the Elvis Presley Fan Club .
