Not quite sure what I'm doing reviewing a girly album but here goes! Canadian fronted London based band Dragonette have a catchy bubblegum pop electro sound. Had I known the singer was Canadian, I may have stayed away - having had my ears abused enough by them in the past (whingers like Alanis Morissette, Nickelback, Sum41 - the list is endless!) This hook heavy, grimy, fuzzy pop sounds a bit like a more modernised version of Madonna or Kylie Minogue.
