Beat to death like a dog!

Having set up shop in the late 80's, Rhino Bucket recorded their first album in 1990 and this one (their second) in 1992. The album was released by Reprise Records and produced by Terry Manning (who also did producing for the likes of Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top). This album offers nothing new, in fact Rhino Bucket's music and vocals in particular are almost a carbon copy of AC/DC's, in fact I've played several albums and people have asked me "which AC/DC album is this", being likened so much to someone else is not necessary a compliment but considering it's the masters of hard rock that are AC/DC then it's obviously less of an issue!

Tracks like "Beat to Death Like A Dog", "Ride With Yourself"(featured in Wayne's World) and my personal fave "Scratch N Sniff" have catchy, grimey lyrics, heavy riffs and piercing vocals that provide the ultimate hard rock experience. Other tracks are a little bit slower but still have that sing-a-long anthem feel to them and ensure that Rhino Bucket are top of my hard rock act list. This album is full of under-rated songs and I struggle to imagine why the LA act never had a hit. The band re-formed in 2001, going on to release "And then It got Ugly" which is another good album, I look forward to the release of their next album "Taking the Fifth"

      8. Burn The World (3:56)
