"Ghetto Love" came out in 2001, and introduced the world to Jaheim as it came as the soulful R&B superstar's debut album, and came with a host of big singles including "Could It Be", "Looking For Love" and "Just In Case", which made his career possible. The artist made it big at a time when R&B was re-vamped with many new faces on the scene, all taking the genre in a new direction. **Introduction** Jaheim Hoagland was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and released his debut album Ghetto Love in 2001, Life was tough for Jaheim growing up as his dad died when he was just a young child and he fell into the wrong crowd and after leaving a young offenders prison aged 16 a changed man his mother died soon after leaving Jaheim and his brothers orphans.
