Billie followed up the huge hit 'Because We Want To' with this 'Girlfriend'. It shot straight to the top of the charts, giving her another one single and cementing Billie as a true star and more than just a one hit wonder. On this release: The lead song is a bubblegum pop ditty in which Billie playfully sings about relationships. There's no doubt about it, Billie Piper was once an amazing solo artist, with many songs hitting the Top Ten charts (quite a few at number one too!). One of these fantastic songs can be found on her second single, 'Girlfriend'. This CD single has two tracks ; Girlfriend and Love Groove. The first, Girlfriend, is the main song. It's got a good tempo and beat, and is great for dancing to. It's a very happy and cheerful song too, perfect to lift spirits at parties or discos (especially if they dont take off too well!).
