Canadian music once again letting us know its not to be underrated- like their compatriot band The Horseflies, their musicianship is great. This album is deeply melodic, very quirky and occasionally sad. Whether you decide to see the lyrics as a social commentary, a step into an alternative universe, or just good fun, on listening to this album I'm sure you'll see that it can be appreciated on many levels. The gravelly voice of the lead singer contrasts masterfully against the lighter, sometime quite poppy instrumental style, whilst the smooth production ensures that once listened to, you will wish to do so again.
