... ut it has to be said this is one of the best. Again the vocals really suit the lyrics and the drums and guitars keep a good pace and beat throughout. Another 1996 track, this time its ?chasing Rainbows? another superb song, but a little mellower. It starts with the drum counting in before the guitars and vocals join within seconds of each other. A bit slower than the tracks before it, the song has a really powerful chorus and a good solid verse. Superb live song as with all the tracks the who...more

So what if I told you that in the early 90?s Oasis were playing second fiddle to an up and coming band from York. How about if I told you they were tipped to go on and rule the Indie world? I bet you wouldn?t believe me on either count would you? Well that was exactly how Shed Seven started out, being tipped to be more successful than Oasis. Well I can testify that the Shed are still going with the original line up re-united and still belting out the classics. I saw them on Saturday night and they really were on top form. I bought this album after hearing a few songs like chasing rainbows and high hopes. After hearing Disco down I was really impressed and various disk jockeys such as Chris Moyles and Mark and Lard were saying this album was a real solid album offering real quality throughout. The album does offer 13 top 40 hits and I have to ask how many compete with this or how many indie bands compete with this? And I must also say they arent the most well known band. This was something I was looking for as before I was buying albums on the strength of one song. This time I took a different approach and bought the album as a complete set of songs.
