The words ‘good’ and ‘talented’ are thrown around far to often with modern bands. Despite my age and the fact that bands such as Good Charlotte and Green Day are my main viewpoint, I fully understand what it means to be ‘talented’. In the case of Good Charlotte, I believe that they receive far to much stick from certain sections of the public. Yes, they may not be ‘punk’ (whatever the hell that is these days), but what Good Charlotte is, is a band of 5 guys that know how to have fun with their music and have gone on to create a massive fan base for themselves in the process. Good Charlotte are quite a popular band at the moment, though many people only started to hear of them after the release of their second album released earlier this year, 'The Young And The Hopeless.' This album was released back in 2000, after the band finally got signed after years of trying to persuade record companies that they could make it! * THE BAND * Good Charlotte is made up of twins Joel (vocals) and Benji (guitar and backing vocals) Madden, Billy Martin (guitar) and Paul Thomas (bass). Aaron (drums) was also a member of the band when this album was released, but he left soon after its release to be in another band. The band ... Read the complete review

Good Charlotte are a pop-punk band from Waldorf,Maryland. This album is their debut album. It features 15 tracks (the last one, "Thank You Mom is a hidden track). The first track is "Little Things" which was released as a single. It is asong about issues that have faced members of the band such as bullying, their father walking out on them and having no money. At the start of the song Joel tells us that is song is dedicated to "anyone whos ever been a freak" and "any kid who has ever been picked last for gym class".It is a very catchy song with a funky bassline during the verses. Its not the best song on the album but if you have ... Good Charlotte are an underground rock band from Annapolis, Maryland with a punk influence. Barley known in their homeland or other parts of the world they still have a dedicated following of fans (mostly Australia actually). The band first started when twins Benji and Joel went to their first big concert, The Beastie Boys, at age 16 and walked away thinking 'we could do that'. After that experience Benji got out an old guitar from the closet that had never been used before and Joel started singing. Soon after they met their buddies Paul, Aaron and Billy at the local school, who, aside from football jock Aaron, were just as big outcasts as the twins. ... Read the complete review
