Good Times - Afroman

'The Good Times' is Afroman's first compilation album, a mix of some of the tracks from his first three albums. Afroman is Joseph Mortimer Foreman, a rapper from Palmdale in Calfornia. He came into the commercial spotlight with his 2001 chart success single, 'Because I Got High', and his music touches themes such as drugs and his hometown of Palmdale. 'The Good Times' compiles 10 tracks performed by the rapper and guitarist, including the hit 'Because I Got High' and another of his released singles 'Crazy Rap'. This is a the first greatest hit album from Afroman, entitled "The Good Times", the common misconception is that this is his debut album, but in fact he had released three LPs by this point, but they didn't raise his popularity until this came out. It was released in Summer of 2001, shortly before "Because I Got High" it reached the top of the UK charts as well as in Australia.
