Advantages: some good songs
Disadvantages: some not so good songs
This is not the sort of album that I would usually buy. Although I do like the music that Daniel Bedingfield has released so far, but it wouldn't persuade me to spend £11.99 on his album. Luckily for me Daniel Bedingfield released the same album again earlier last year, but with 3 extra tracks on it. So my sister purchased his updated version and kindly gave me his now, out of date version. It is much publisised that Daniel Bedingfield wrote and produced all of his own songs himself in his bedroom. After listening to this album I found it very good. It has a good mixture of slow ballads and faster songs. 1. Blown It Again 8/10 This song gets the album off to a great start. It has a great beat and excellent lyrics, it also has some rapping in it. 2. James Dean 8/10 This was the second single that Daniel Bedingfield released. It is not excellent, but quite good. It has a totally different sound than his first single. 3. Gotta Get Thru This 10/10 This track is very good. It was Daniel's first single and the song that first got him noticed and everyone talking about. This was his first number one single. It has an excellent base on this song and it is very addictive. Once you hear it you will have it in your head for the rest of the day. Definately one to turn the volume right up. 4. Right Girl 6/10 This is not one of the best songs on the album. It has some rapping in it. 5. If You're Not The One 10/10 This was his 3rd release from the album. It is a beautiful ballad and he sings it wonderfully. The lyrics are great and it is definately one of my favourite songs. 6. He Don't Love You Like I Love You 7/10 This is a nice song with good lyrics. 7. I Can't Read You 8/10 This is another one of the great songs on this album. It is a very catchy track and once you've heard it a few times you will be singing along to it. 8. Friday 4/10 This is
my least favourite track on the album. I've listened to it many times now and I still do not like this one. 9. Honest Questions 8/10 This is another nice ballad. He sings it very well. 10. Girlfriend 9/10 I like this song. It is a song that makes you feel good when you listen to it. Excellent singing and lyrics. 11. Without The Girl 8/10 This is a good song. Easy to listen to. Nice. 12. Inflate My Ego 8/10 A fast track. He's took a sample of the blues brothers for this song. Good. 13. Gotta Get Thru This [Acoustic] 8/10 Not as good as the original, but still nice to listen to. This album was very good. I would recommend it to others. There is a mix of different sounds on the album.Definately an album where you need to turn the volume button right up. As I said earlier in this review, I got this album for free, but after listening to it I would Go out and pay money to own it. He has now brought out the same album with 3 new tracks on it. I have not listened to these so I do not know what they are like, but if they are anything like these then they will be good. This album has been out for over a year now, but it still remains in the top 30 album chart. IT IS THAT GOOD. I can't wait for Daniel Bedingfield to release some more singles.
