Advantages: Nice songs and melodies

Disadvantages: They could use a bit more their drums

This is the fourth album of the Swedish band The Cardigans with leading vocal Nina.

It is the only album I have of them, so I cannot compare it to other album of theirs.

I like the voice of Nina and I think what makes this album worth are the relaxing melodies in it. The title Gran Turismo was meant to convey the idea of travelling at one time, and in fact this is a good album to listen if you go on a long drive, but may be not at night, and on the other side it was meant to convey the curious attitude of the band to this world and the fact that they feel like tourists.

My favourite song is the third one of the album, called Explode. It is a very nice melody. I think it could have been done in a bit stronger way too, with more pumping of the drums, but surely this is a good song to listen when you cuddle someone you like.
