Trying to live up to the mega-selling Grease soundtrack was just as hard as the film trying to live up to its predecessor, Neither really succeeded, but that doesn't mean that this collection is a complete write-off. Far from it, there are many classics on here, often classic for all the wrong reasons, but a ton of fun all the same. Maxwell Caulfield can't sing or act (at least, not in this film) so his solo number 'Charades' sounds like karaoke. His contributions to all the group efforts are a bit pants as well so let's swiftly move on to Michelle Pfeiffer. If any readers have seen 'The Fabulous Baker Boys' they will know that Pfeiffer can actually sing. Here ... Read the complete review

The movie Grease 2 wasn’t as good as Grease, and the soundtrack for Grease 2 isn’t as good either! It’s also a lot shorter. I'm still laughing at the fact that dooyoo.co.uk has this soundtrack listed, but here is my review anyway. The "Grease 2" soundtrack, like the film, is full to the brim of pure cheese. Personally I think the film is underrated because many "Grease" fans are offended as the sequel hardly brings credit to it, but people should see that "Grease 2" is good because its so bad. For more about this see my top ten 80s films. Most of the songs are performed by the cast, and surprisingly, Michelle Pfeiffer can actually sing. The soundtrack kicks off with the upbeat "Back to School", performed by the Four Tops. Many critics say ... Read the complete review
