Advantages: good music
Disadvantages: none!
This album has to be one of their best, I mean what other band has a picture of a killed dear on the back with the slogan “who killed Bambi!” This album was released in 1978 under EMI records; I’m here to review the CD version though, The CD comes with a poster showing parts from the film that the album is taken from and there are 24 tracks. The CD has also been digitally remastered to make it sound better. So we all know the Sex Pistols, well if you don’t here you go- there foul mouthed loud bunch of people brought together to make the Sex Pistols, one of the first real punk rock bands. Some of the Tracks on the album are recorded properly and some are just recordings of them in the studio (or where ever they are!). For instance song number three (Johnny B Goode) the singer doesn’t know the words and just says loads of stuff, then wants to move to the next song and so they move on even though its still song three! -then it changes to four a little later. The best songs on the album have to be first- Anarchy In The UK, this song just sounds so good and the lyrics are great. Next it would have to be the last track purely because of its comical lyrics rather than the actual music, then my second favourite on the album- Einmal War Belson Bortrefflich, the first version of it is with the normal singers voice then the second version (the next track) it is done with two different voice and is recorded properly with more sound effects. Over all this is a classic album, you either love it or hate it- I love it!
