The first volume came out decades before the second one did, and served as a standalone Greatest Hits album until the mid-1990s, when the second collection of hits was compiled. The progression of Queen's style is very evident, especially when you pop out the first CD and put in the second. Personally, I like almost all of the first CD, but can't get into the second one past the first few tracks. The second volume contains much of the later hits in the "glam rock" style, while the first CD (containing the hits from the '70s, mostly) has a much more classic feel. This collection has both Queens Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits II The first album "Greatest Hits" is a compilation released in November 1981. The album is the best-selling album globally by the band and is the UK's all-time best-selling album. No track listing was the same around the world. Each country track listing were dependent on what singles were released there and where tracks charted. On the UK addition of the album Freddie Mercury has ten songs, Brian May has five and John Deacon has two. The track listing is: Bohemian Rhapsody from A Night at the Opera Another One Bites the Dust from The Game Killer Queen ... Read the complete review

Introduction: I was never really a Queen fan until a few years ago now. I of course knew loads of their songs and in particular We Will Rock You and We are The Champions which are forever being played at all sorts of places. I knew of them for a while and liked them but had never once bought one of their CDs. However as I said first of all this all changed a few years ago now and since that point I loved Queen and now own this CD as in my opinion it is certainly the best one to buy with all the best Queen hits put onto two of the best CDs you will ever encounter! Becoming a Fan: A few years ago now for my Birthday my Mum bought two tickets ... Read the complete review

Queen- Greatest Hits Volumes I & II, 2 CD set Whether you're a die-hard fan of Queen or you're just looking for a good compilation of their greatest hits, you can't go wrong with this 2 CD set. It is an excellent representation of their material as a whole. Queen's signature sound is unlike that of anyone else. Once you've heard it you'll recognize it anywhere. You'll go back for more. It is good, clean & clear, driving rock 'n roll with a little something extra. The choral-style backup vocals, which are present in several songs, give their music a unique edge. Also unique is an entire song with only ... Read the complete review
