**Warning** I will warn you now before you start reading this - this is a long review so I would recommend getting a nice drink to sip while reading. **Introduction** I was born in 1982 which was the decade of Queen's most memorably famous songs. The 4 men that joined together to form this group became, in my opinion, one of the greatest all time rock bands ever. What felt like every day of my childhood, I would hear a 'Queen' song playing on the radio, TV, tape or record player (80's remember). I seemed to know the lyrics and tune to every one of their songs before I could even talk properly, let alone sing. To this day I remain an avid ... Read the complete review

Greatest Hits Vol.2 by Queen was compiled and released in 1991 to showcase all of the band's greatest hits from 1981 to 1991 in one place. A great buy for fans and newbies alike I think. What's especially great about the greatest hits albums is that they're a brilliant way to introduce new fans to older music. Of the three greatest hits albums, this is the rockier number. The 80s were a big time for stadium rock on the rock and roll front and the band embraced that full whack with many of the songs included on this compilation album. A good deal of these songs are well known anthems that have been appealing to fans for many generations. Anthems ... Read the complete review

Although Greatest Hits I by Queen contains some essential tracks (Bohemian Rhaspody, We will rock you...etc), Greatest Hits II contains some of the best songs Queen ever wrote. Songs like A kind of magic, I want to break free, Radio Ga Ga and Hamnmer to Fall etc are all some of the bands most enduring material and is loved by all. This is a very good album, I believe everyone with a healthy interest in music needs a copy of this album somewhere. Its good value for money too, 17 of the best songs ever on one CD! Its one of those fantastic Cd's you can put on and leave to play right through every track, not one of them is a dud. My only gripe with this Cd is that ... Read the complete review

~~~~Reasons For Buying The Greatest Hits II By Queen~~~~ I was first introduced to Queen in the late 1970's by my Father who absolutely worshipped this amazing rock band. My parents had spilt up when I was young and my Father would come and pick me up early every Saturday morning, to take me to stay at his house for the night. Well I used to mess about in his glove compartment in his Van as a child (as you do lol) and one day, I opened it up and his collection of Queen tapes fell out onto the floor. I was never really interested in them before, but for some reason I asked him to put a tape on so I could listen to some music on the journey down to his house and I ... Read the complete review
Queen are or where one of the best bands in the world. And even though Freddie Mercury is dead Queen lives on in the form of Queen and Paul Rodgers. They even released an album but it didn't get a great reception. They've sold millions of albums worldwide and they also played at Live Aid at Wembley. This is their second greatest hits album and my favourite tracks are: (1) A kind of magic, not the most exciting song but a great one nonetheless. Freddie's vocals are excellent as is May's guitar work. (4) I want it all, despite having been ruined by sofa commercials this is a great rock song. Brian May's guitar work is excellent as always. Products similar to Greatest Hits Vol.2 - Queen
Tims House - Kate Walsh
Calming, beautiful voice.
Maybe a little boring for some.
The Mix-up - Beastie Boys
Could be used as background music.
No musical ability whatsoever is displayed here, the album is despicably tedious.
The Mechanical Hand - Horse The Band
Some strong keyboard sounds at times created here, the lyrics are pretty good.
The album is poorly structured, the music created here often sounds a mess.
Skeletons - Wednesday 13
An excellent album full of high quality horror punk tracks.
I do believe this album is truly flawless
Skjend Hans Lik - Carpathian Forest
Remastered demo is a nice present to the fans.
Bulked out by worthlessly inferior material.
Ribbed Music For The Numb Generation - Soho Dolls
Album contains a number of excellent highly sexed dirty electro anthems.
It's not perfect, there is most certainly room for improvement.
R Borlax - Horse The Band
The music is great fun to listen to, excellent use of lyrics is made here.
If you don't like hardcore shouted vocals then you won't like this.
Dial-a-song: 20 Years Of They Might Be Giants - They Might Be Giants
Generally excellent music, lovingly packaged
Some key tracks missing
Defending The Throne Of Evil - Carpathian Forest
Great riffs and songs, atmospheric, tongue-in-cheek and entertaining
None
