Advantages: All their greatest hits!, Good price!
Disadvantages: None
I first heard Guns 'n' Roses about 6 years ago, my sister is a huge rock fan and was playing 'Sweet child of mine' in her room. I instantly became hooked, I listened through all of her albums with growing awe and excitement. After hearing 'November rain' I was officially their biggest fan!
Guns 'n' roses exploded onto the scene in the late eighties with their debut album 'Appetite for destruction', in my opinion they gave us some of the best songs that have stood the test of time, even if you have never heard of the band, you most likely know one of their songs, be it 'Sweet child of mine' or 'November rain'! Eventually exhaustion made the band fall apart, with Axl Rose apparantly sacking the original members of the band. There has been talk of a new album (The chinese Democracy), but I would not hold your breath!
So onto the album,
The album contains some of their biggest hits such as,
'Welcome to the jungle', a fast paced rock tune.
'November rain', in my opinion the best song of all time! It starts with Axl playing the piano and singing soft lyrics, then the guitar kicks in, Slash (the guitarist) plays amazing in this song! I promise you, the hairs will be standing up on your arms, and you will get shivers down your spine!
'Knockin on heavens door', the original was by Bob Dylan, but I think most will agree guns have the best version!
'Sweet child o mine', Now most of you will know this one! It is a fantastic song, with the best guitar rift of all time!
Here is the track listing for this album, I have also gave each song a star rating from one to five.
1. Welcome to the jungle (5*)
2. Sweet child o mine (5*)
3. Patience (4*)
4. Paradise city (5*)
5. Knockin on heavens door (5*)
6. Cival war (4*)
7. You could be mine (4*)
8. Don't cry (5*)

11. Yesterdays (3*)
12. Ain't it fun (3*)

14. Sympathy for the devil (3*)
Conclusion
A fantastic album, a must for any fan. If you like any of their stuff, I reccommend you get this album! I paid 9.99 for this and have seen it around for a lot cheaper, grab yourself a bargain!
Thanks for reading!
