Against All Odds - N-DubzNa Na Naiii (672 words)
by Ryandinho - written on 25/11/09 (Very useful, 46 readings)
Against All Odds is the second album released by London hip-hop trio N N-Dubz in November 2009. After the success of their first album, Uncle B, N-Dubz returned with this 45 minute offering to show their growth from their previous effort. The good parts of the album are that there are several really good songs. A few of them you will already have heard on the radio like I Need You or the very catchy Number 1 that also featured Tinchy Stryder. They show some real writing and musical talent on Playing With Fire that enlists the singing talents of Mr Hudson to provide a strong chorus. The catchy and up tempo beats also return here with the majority of the songs having ...
Uncle B - N-DubzHip hop! Really? (229 words)
by Pistolpov - written on 12/01/09 (Very useful, 27 readings)
N Dubz are a hip hop group from London. I have to say before I go on I am not a hip hop fan I never have been. But N Dubz changed that. I am actually listening to this album while I type this. They have had a few top 40 singles and the one that caught me was "Ouch" it was a really catchy tune and when I first heard it I researched it on the internet and found out about N Dubz and decided I would get the album. The album is in my favourites on my I Pod to me there is not a bad song on the album and the lyrics are sometimes funny and sometimes send out a serious message. I have no doubt that N Dubz are like many young bands/groups out there. But I ...

N-Dubz are a MOBO award-winning trio of London-based musicians. The 2008 release "Uncle B" is the debut album, after a couple of years of street hype. They perform what is said to be a mix of UK Hip Hop and R&B, but is nothing more than "urban Pop" for the youngsters who follow that sort of music. I haven't enjoyed any of their six singles, and wouldn't considerbuying this, however I did buy it for someone elese, and thought I should share my opinion on it. Personally, I see no point in looking into individaul tracks since it is all of a geneal poor quality, and any of the tracks share similarities in their arrangement. The ...
