Advantages: Good Song Selection, A Couple of New Songs

Disadvantages: No Aeroplane

I like the song selection for the most part on this greatest cd collection but can not get over the fact that a song like "Aeroplane" was left off. The song had a music video and was a great song for them at a time of change with new guitar player Dave Navarro (formerly of Janes Addiction). The greatest hits collection takes the Chili Peppers up through By the Way, which at the current time is their second to last cd put out. The tracklist is good though considering all the material that is available. The opening song "Under the Bridge" is probably their most famous song. Californication is well represented with "Californication", "Scar Tissue", "Otherside", "Parallel Universe" and "Road Trippin'". The other songs are taken from a variety of earlier albums like Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sexx Magik along with the newest at the time of release By the Way.
Overall the tracklist is great although a greatest hits cd will never please every fan.

Summary: Good Track list

sorry but i could only go for an SU because although you mention the song titles there is no mention of what the music actually sounds like. Anyone not already familiar with the band would find this quite uninformative in my opinion.
