Fronted by charasmatic and striking redhead Mick Hucknall, this is a fine collection of songs which charts their early years up until the mid nineties. On the album: Older treats in the form of 'Holding Back The Years' which never fails to move me, I always think of Only Fools and Horses and the wedding when I hear this one. 'Money's Too Tight To Mention' finds Mick on fine form as he grapples with grittier lyrics and seems to spit the words with glee. One a more lighthearted note, 'Stars' will bring you back down to earth and 'For Your Babies' will make you go 'ahh' and make you want to rush off and start a family. One of the highlights is the ...
