... style song I might compare this to someone like Sandy Shaw or Petula Clarke. Its ultra kitsch but kind of cool. I really like it. Sweet Insomnia (another Gwyn and Will composition) is a real treat for me as Gwyn duets with the fabulous Jamie Cullum. I like this one. It has a darker feel to it than some of the lighter tracks. It is very much a late night song with smoky laid back vocals. Jamie Cullum sounds different to how I remember him but his husky voice on the track compliments Gwyn’s sultry vocals. I imagine myself in a sophisticated cocktail dress sipping champagne cocktails with a lovely young fellow in a smoking jacket and floppy fringe. . To recreate this fantasy I have a number of jazz and lounge albums from some of the new stars featured on Radio 2. The latest addition to this collection is entitled First Songs and is by a young British duo Gwyn and Will Gwyneth Herbert (vocals) and Will Rutter (guitar) met at Durham University and joined together to make sweet jazz ...

A great jazzy - pop album with a lot of things to think about Technical Aspects not up to scratch

Music for almost any occasion Slightly imperfect audibly in places

A great new sound in a stale industry! There is only 12 tracks!

It's a real Williams classic to perfectly evoke a movie It's not the most enjoyable score to listen

Some good 'crunk' music VERY girly

Vocals, Music, Brilliance, Lyrics, Raw Energy, Passion Very little

Fantasmagorie - Akurat
Fun and skilfully executed modern ska tunes. Indecipherable lyrics (for non-Poles) and less imaginative reggae sections.

If Emotions Still Burn - Ablaze My Sorrow
A pleasant surplus of lead guitar melodies balanced out with some angry death metal. Overly repetitive, and too similar to Dark Tranquillity and others to truly stand out.

Horrorhammer - Abscess
Fairly enjoyable mix of death metal and hardcore punk. Hugely inconsistent and lacking in substance.

Complete Clapton - Eric Clapton
Classic Rock - 2007

Breathe In - Lucie Silvas
Some gorgeous pop ballads She's not as well known as she should be

Bleed - Angel Dust
Powerful vocals, high production values and an enjoyable mood. Rooted in the past with few distinguishing features.

Blacken The Angel - Agathodaimon
Nice background music, if you're partial to a bit of the old melodic symphonic extreme metal. Songs don't stand strong on their own, and the general musicianship is rather bland and dull.
