This live cd and dvd combo comes from Muse's triumphant sell out gigs at Wembley Stadium. Playing to 160,000 people over 2 nights, the gigs are now revered, even called the best gigs ever in Kerrang! magazine. The CD is of the Saturday performance, with the Sunday being shown on the DVD. The CD is short and massively cut down from the 23 songs played to 14. It works very well as a live CD, although one girl's screams can audibly be heard over thousands of people singing or the band at times, which can be fairly irritating. The music however is flawless, the band have never sounded so good on live recordings. The DVD is beautifully shot, full of ... Read the complete review

Despite having not long ago released their fourth studio album Muse decided to release a dvd and cd complication of their two concerts at Wembley on the 16th and 17th of June 2007. The first disc is a cd of selected tracks from one of the nights and the second is a dvd of other tracks, not exactly the same as the ones on the cd.Since some of the tracks are on both the cd and dvd I will just talk about my favourites: (1) Knights of Cydonia, this is the opening song for the concert and it's brilliant live. On both you can hear and see the crowd going mad and then singing along. Matt's guitar work is impeccable considering he is singing at the same time and all ... Read the complete review

Muse live at Wembley was probably the best gig I have ever been to, having seen them twice already I had high expectations and they still managed to blow me away, so you can imagine my delight when they finally released this CD/DVD. Disc one is simply a CD of some of the songs they performed. From the beginning to end you can almost feel the atmosphere there was in the stadium over the two days. Muse pull out all the stops and the CD kicks off with Knights of Cydonia which sounds even more epic than normal from Wembley Stadium. Throughout the CD you can feel the passion in the songs. The best track on the album for me has to 'Unintended', the song ... Read the complete review

Another live album from the band since the hugely popular double disk Hullabaloo album! This is compiled of a cd of them performing their live set from their amazing Wembley stadium gig on the 16th and 17th of june along with a dvd showing footage of the concert with behind the scenes action! The cd/dvd was released on the 17 March 2008. HAARP was derived from the american investigation project called the 'High Frequency Active Aural Research Program' nothing much to say about that really except it was a period where lots of antennas were put up which does explain the number of antennas and satellite dishes on the stage during their performance! CD ... Read the complete review

HAARP is the DVD and CD of Muse' amazing gig at wembley stadium. The name HAARP comes from some big satelite, according to Matt Belamy anyway. Thats why when you see the overhead shots that the stage looks like a big heart/harp shaped thing. The DVD starts in Black and white, with Prokofievs Romeo And Juliet Playing, and muse rising out from the floor of the stage in a shower of confetti. They then Walk triumphantly up the runway and launch into a blistering version of "Knights of Cydonia". The stage is huge, and when you see a shot of the whole crowd bouncing and singing along to the riff, it gives you goose bumps. And really makes you wish you were ... Read the complete review
