Picture the scene – it’s The Royal Albert Hall, the year is 2000, it’s April and the World Festival Orchestra strike up with the overture …. This is the memory this CD evokes as soon as the music begins. It was the best concert that I have ever been to – see my opinion on The Moody Blues live. The overture was a mix of snatches from various Moody Blues songs and played live with a passion that it made the tears spring to my eyes and the CD is no different.
