... let's be honest, everyone seems to get into JTQ via their Starsky & hutch theme), and you get a decent two and a half hours. If I say it's good for background dinner party, or as aural wallpaper (upbeat, but not demanding attention) whilst you do a bit of work, take that as a positive, and you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the liner notes are pretty good, giving you decent background, and pointers for which original albums to buy. ...more

I wasn't really in to JTQ, but picked up this best-of collection the other day. And it's not 'arf bad. I'd call it a mix of Acid Jazz, some Old Skool soul, and lashings of Hammond organ. Throw in some original takes on recognisable tunes (and let's be honest, everyone seems to get into JTQ via their Starsky & hutch theme), and you get a decent two and a half hours. Jazz - Post-bop - 2004

Diana's voice is amazing and too sexy for words, simple orchestration, Nice songs Too many ballads

A nice intro to British funk. Maybe a bit too smooth.

Great vocals, Ballads A few weaker links

Jazz - Swing - 2000

Easy listerning - Relax mode - Good recording Sax solo a bit shorter - I like more !

More products in Music Album

The First Four Years - Black Flag
Affordable and convenient repackaging of earlier EPs. Short, without much in the way of original material.

Slip It In - Black Flag
More talented playing from Greg Ginn, and a more consistent album from the band. Not as experimental or ground-breaking as previous works.

Sex Starved - Batmobile
More consistent and level-headed. Tendencies towards silliness still ruin things.

My War - Black Flag
Even more experimental and talented than the previous album. Second half may seem a little dull.

Loose Nut - Black Flag
Solid production and another fine performance from Greg Ginn. The rest of the band seems burnt out.

Live '84 - Black Flag
A necessary celebration of 1984 material. Instrumentals are a bit wearing.

Jealous Again - Black Flag
Short and sweet offering of early Black Flag. Far too short to be of any real interest.

Bail Is Set At Six Million Dollars - Batmobile
Further psychedelic elements... ...but very few.

Bambooland - Batmobile
Traditional rockabilly with a few psychedelic leanings. Too traditional to be of any real interest.

Amazons From Outer Space - Batmobile
Defines the band's style. Still too many elements of traditional rockabilly and country for the songs to stand out.
