KT Tunstall is not someone who needs their music turning into dance remakes, so 'Suddenly I See' is an odd choice, though it sort of works. The verses are empowered and the chorus is bouncy and fancy enough to make you want to jiggle to it. Her take on 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' is ghastly though, as a whiney vocal tries to sound like Jake Shears and badly back...more |

It is perhaps worrying that I know someone who looks the woman on the front cover, only that the person I know is a bloke. Jackie O' is a regular on the Almighty label, delivering her brand of infectious pop dance covers. This album might have a dubious title, but it does have two discs of tracks, with the second disc containing a sixteen minute megamix. Jackie unleashes 'Let Me Entertain You' with a small flourish. Might be exciting if you've never heard the bands it's clearly ripping off. Nowhere near the level of its influences, and far too repetitive.

A fine metal performance in the classic style. Suffers from many drawbacks of the eighties.

Emotive and intense post-metal with a great performance from Julie Christmas. Becomes repetitive and a little tedious, causing the effect to diminish.
1919 Eternal - Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society
More Zakk Wylde for modern Ozzy Osbourne fans. All very similar and uninspired.
Drawing Down The Moon - Beherit
Another entertaining early black metal album with classically awful production values. Most songs sound pretty much the same.
