One of the other slight problems is that it was widely recognised and something I agree with that the best track on the album was the opening track Superman and after this none of the others quite lived...more

The King Blues are a favourite band of mine because of the wide range of influences they have in their music and in particular some punk, reggae and ska influences all mashed together and another band I like, Goldfinger use a similar style in their music as you can detect both the punk and ska influences in this innovative bands music. Hang ups was the second album from the punk band goldfinger. Their first album the self titled goldfinger album had done very well and so there was some pressure on them to release some more great tracks. Their tracks had a little element off ska about them in their first album and this continues on this album, again a bit more prominent on some songs than others. The first song off the album is superman, wow what a start to an album. The best song off the album by miles and my favourite goldfinger song of all time. The song is very ska all the way through but it really works. The lyrics are amazing to this one but more than anything its all the different ...  Read the complete review

War Of The Worlds: Bad Astronaut Vs Armchair Martian - Bad Astronaut Vs Armchair Martian
Armchair Martian temper Bad Astronaut's pop direction. Bad Astronaut exacerbate Armchair Martian's irritating ballads.

Travelogue: Deluxe Edition - Joni Mitchell
Wonderful orchestral arrangements and rich music throughout None!

Side One - Adrian Belew
Glorious return, most experimental solo release to date. Still sounds like the stuff he was doing in the eighties.

Op Zop Too Wah - Adrian Belew
Adrian Belew finally gives the fans what they want. Some of the tracks are ridiculous and pointless, but that still lends them a certain charm.

Mr. Music Head - Adrian Belew
Mix of catchy pop and slightly more experimental songs. Neither style works especially well.

Inner Revolution - Adrian Belew
The guitar is back, at least. Belew continues to produce disappointing pop, several decades out of date.

Here - Adrian Belew
Re-introduces long-absent guitar experimentation. Mostly Beatles plagiarism.

Ego Trippin' - Snoop Dogg
Lots of hits A few weaker tracks

Coming Attractions - Adrian Belew
If you were desperate for an Adrian Belew release in 2000. Unfinished, disappointing new songs and pointlessly reproduced old ones.

Desire Of The Rhino - Adrian Belew
You don't have to buy the full-length albums. It's still not that great.
